Oh Christmas Tree...

When it comes to public relations the majority of Morgan PR's clients, whether here in West Berkshire, the Thames Valley or even further a field, they require publicity all year round.

Short of landing Father Christmas as a client, I imagine that Newbury Christmas Tree Farm is one of the few clients who only need publicity for a few weeks of the year, starting anytime now!

We were out on the wholesale side of the business earlier today and I have never seen so many Christmas Trees! Destined for garden centres and shops in plenty of time for Christmas.

Here in West Berkshire the Newbury Christmas Tree Farm, at Bagnor, will represent the best place to buy your own Christmas Tree, not least because we do know that the aforementioned Santa will be there in December - as will four reindeer! Watch this space for more news...

They’re making a list, checking it twice and it doesn’t matter if you’ve been naughty or nice, the excitement among Tiger Tiger customers is palpable – Christmas is coming to this fabulous emporium of delights.

This truly is a most wonderful time of year at Tiger Tiger. Magical at any time of the year and bursting with an eclectic array of gifts and statement pieces, this store is at its busiest at Christmas and not least because of those lists - the wish lists the store offers that make shopping for loved one's a breeze!

So begins Morgan PR's forthcoming feature on Tiger Tiger, the lifestyle and gift store that attracts droves of shoppers to its two branches in Newbury and Marlborough.

We've been regularly writing about Tiger Tiger and the store's founder, Allison Brook, for quite a few years now and earlier today we were at the Marlborough store and met with Allison and her colleague Tracey Avery - together they hunt down the myriad of gifts that have that essential 'Tiger Tiger-ness' that bring loyal customers back to the store time and again, while constantly bringing in new customers too.

When the attitude of so many retailers we meet is doom and gloom Tiger Tiger is bucking the trend and I cannot help but ask which came first - the chicken of positive thinking or the sales egg of success?

Incidentally, the long awaited Tiger Tiger website is due to go live and is already accepting registrations for people interested in shopping online with this fab store.

The Best Christmas Shop in Newbury

The Christmas lights have been twinkling in shops for far too many weeks already, however, it was a trip to Tiger Tiger in Bartholomew Street Newbury, that has gotten Morgan PR into the festive frame of mind – although we were actually putting Tiger Tiger into the frame with some festive photography!

There is a wonderful vintage feel to Tiger Tiger this Christmas; vintage gold and silver baubles sparkle and Newbury’s premier independent lifestyle shop seems to sparkle like a precious jewel as it welcomes shoppers tempted by the myriad of delights inside.

It is the delightfully eclectic mixture of gifts and concepts that has won Tiger Tiger legions of near evangelical enthusiasts and draws in new converts every single day. Chosen by owner Allison Brook and buyer Tracey Avery, the diverse range of products has something to appeal to everyone.

Morgan PR has been writing and photographing Allison and Tiger Tiger for some four years now and it is fantastic to see someone realise so much in the competitive retail market.

And I mean it about Christmas at Tiger Tiger; seriously, this is the most Christmassy place this side of Santa’s Grotto – and obviously I mean the real one!
